Leonardo da Vinci has been a man active and talented in so many different areas that he may be called one of the few genius in history of mankind. He was scientist, engineer and a brilliant inventor. The exhibition discovers his intelligence and creativity as never seen again. Explore the myths and legends of this universal genius and his inventions which inspire and challenge us even 550 years later. The exhibition contains more than 60 3-dimensional, mostly interactive machines, built as full scale and smaller scale models.. They have been recreated based on the original codices, the notebooks Leonardo da Vinci carried with him to record his findings. The machines have been created maticulously using material used at his times: wood, metal, cloth and ropes. The functionality of the machines is described in detail by computer simulations and videoguides that visitors can interactively handle.
